My son's birthday cake... check it out!

For my son's tenth birthday, I decided to make it the theme of Bakugan as that's his interest right now and has been for the past three years or so. I made his cake as I usually do every year. I enjoy making them and decorating and seeing the smile on his face when I carry it out and sing happy birthday to you.
The cake was chocolate with double layers. I bought some Bakugans which came with the cards and used them with colored icing to decorate it. He loved it!

i like the way you dressed up the cake. i am sure your kid loved this. it really looks so lovely and so yummy. i hope i can do this too to my kids. personal touch is very important and doing so, your kid will surely love you more.

He did have a great birthday party or at least I thought he did. Before he went to sleep tonight he told me next year when he has a party to take his night light out of his room because one of the kids who were here that is supposidly his friend, was telling everyone about it. I"m not sure how my son reacted for them to keep bugging him. Kids are soooo mean!
