I have just been approved by Demand Solutions (DS) to freelance for eHow.com Has anyone here written for eHow.com before it was run my DS? I'm finding DS not so friendly a place to write for. Any thought? Thanks...

Isn't it known as demand studios? Yes, I used to write for ehow back when demand studios did not completely ask writers to write directly for them. Back then things were much easier. I was approved to write for DS. I even signed up for it. But later I started questioning myself as to whether I was doing it right. Later I found out that my new writings through them were going to be owned completely by them. So I would not be able to republish them anywhere else. Next a blogger explained their TOS according to which writers would earn performance payment amount only for 5 years with demand studios. That means no forever is there. So I said goodbye to ehow. Now I write for firehow, bukisa and triond.

Yup, I was transposing solutions for studios. I haven't written anything for them and I suspect I never will. Many people like David Sarokin are rather lamenting the change. I am starting output for Xomba, MyLot, Hubpages, Helium, and Firehow. What do you think of Bukisa? Thanks, for your comment!

I have noticed the webiste for long time. I can't find the information if I can republish my articles on their site. I read their FAQ carefully then I thought why I didn't check mylot to see what others think about. Then I found the topic. As I understand I can't republish my articles. Am I right? If I understand correctly I don't think I can write for them. I have no enough time to do it. thanks for any explaination. happy mylotting.

Divineathena, your post here is just awesome. I will checkout firehow and see if it will work for me, too. Before I stumbled onto this discussion, I was reading the FAQs for Demand Studios and I find it complicated, to many process involved. Plus, you mentioned that royalties are up to 5 years only, so I am now all set not to continue my application there. I will just make good with the current sites I write for. I hope it will generate residual income in the future.
