How Do You Define Happiness?

During my childhood days, I always insist to myself that I need to study hard then look for a nice job to have a big earnings. I need to do this so I can be happy with my future life. However, as time goes by, and as my age grows, I can say that I almost accomplished that, but, in some part of my heart, I still feel the emptiness. I can say that happiness is not really complete. That I can say, I am not still happy. Yes, I can laugh but its only for a while. Yes I can say I have this and I can have the things that I aspire but still feeling empty. Maybe, I need to do some more effort to feel the happiness. Or maybe there is a better way to feel the true happiness. How about you, how do you define happiness?

Earning a good living is part of the thing that would make you happy. Not because 'the money' itself 'is' happiness, but because with money you can afford a proper lifestyle the way you want to live. But to truly be happy in my own definition is to 'live with the moment'. When it rains.. really feel the rain, when the sun is shining.. really feel the heat of it, when you are next to your friends and family.. you really feel their presence and enjoy their company EVERY SINGLE MINUTE for as long as it last, and so on. I've found that the more I look forward for something in the future, the lesser importance I give for the present moment. This is not to tell you that we should not have any plan in our lives, but to more aware of our present so we are able to appreciate every one and every thing every single moment of our lives. Happiness in just like beauty, Its in the eye of the beholder. So if your life makes you happy than your happy.

In general, people do what they do to feel happy. I joined battle of the bands before. Why? Cuz i wanna play in a band. Why? Cuz it makes me feel happy. I'm currently finishing my studies. Why? Cuz i wanna have a job. Why? To earn money. Why? To buy stuff to make me happy.
