One of my favorite sit coms of all time. Now I am a person who for the first part do not like sit coms. I think they degrade womanhood and make men out to morons(more than....well, lets not go there!) Afew sit coms down through the years had an episode or two I liked but this one was halarious all the way through! Alan Alda is so great! The dip $hit Major and all the characters were superb! HOTLIPS! I even have a copy of the special they did twenty five years after the end of the series. Did you watch it? Do you have a favorite scene or episode? For me Tri through the tulips was mine. When Radar got Colonel Potter the horse. Oh my gosh! I nearly wet my pants! Just one of many though.

A few years ago when I was in High School I would watch this show. I have always been one to watch the sitcoms that were started, or started and finished before I was born, or shortly after, or what not. Hawkeye was my favorite (Alan Alda), though I like him and Radar together. It's been years since I watched it. I liked the dip Shittt major too, if I remember correctly.. he was the skinny one who had the hots for hotlips, right?

Yes, the dip $hit one was that, yes! Glad you enjoyed it. I think the best ones were back then anyway.

oh and as for that episode you were talking about? I am not sure. I remember there was a series I think after, but it was only like four episodes if I remember correctly? I think Alan Alda really brought in the humor that the soldiers needed in the series, but he was also compassionate when he needed to be.

I liked Radar. He always new when things were coming in the air, but he couldn't always figure out what was going on around him. I liked what they did to the prejudice guy who didn't want any black blood. (Blood donated from a black person) So they painted him a little blacker every day. I liked the bugging out and they had to rescue an orphanage. I liked the ones that were less funny and more poinient (spelling?) best.

I remember watching MASH a long time ago but it has been forever. I will have to watch a few episodes and see if I still like it.

To pick my fav would be hard. I have the whole series on DVD. I love RADAR, he is such a cute little guy. I was sad when he left the show. I love the where Hawkeye and BJ play jokes on other people. I love the one where Colonel Potter and his friend play a joke on the whole camp. His friend is supposed to be at camp for a surprise inspection and he fakes a heart attack. Colonel says I got you, you, you and if Klinger thinks he is going to get that section 8 he's crazier than he thinks. I like it when Klinger used to wear women's clothes to get out of the Army and in the last episode he gets married to a korean lady and they stay behind to find her family.

I know. MASH was such a wonder. Sad that the attempt made at a sequel didn't pan out. I am glad they haven't taken it off the air completely and that it is on DVD now. DID you see the 25 year anniversary show they did?

I think I liked it because the people were very real. I watched it faithfully every night on one of the odd channels on TV, or maybe on Nick. Believe it or not, I saw an episode the other day that I do not ever remember seeing before.

oh my gosh oh yes one of my most favorites wow. yes Hotlips and Radar and Colonel Potter, those were the funniest thing on television and were always so superb Oh the horse episode that was my favorite one also. they were all so good in their roles and every episode was hilarious. If all sit coms had been that good, well lets just say most were awful.

Most were awful and I refused to watch some stupidity. I enjoyed most of MASH.
