Gissi and his Manners

thats something dogs seem to do a lot. poor things they even think smelling butts is the thing. arent we glad we dont have that need at least Gissi has a good excuse. my granddaughter at 15yrs went around burping as loud as possible and her friends also, without so much as an excuse me!! when i chastised her for it being really disgusting,rude, and altogether unlady-like she informed me that in her crowd it was an exceptable thing and very much to be proud of i dont understand the world today...geesh!!

We had an adorable border collie x once. She looked something between a miniature french sheepdog and a hungarian pulli, so we often jokingly called her our miniature french mutt. Anyway, Sheba's (that's her name) very bad habit was she'd walk right up to you, give you a smile, and burp loudly in your face! She thought it was funny..we didn't. Considering her burps stunk!

Well, Gissi loves you, but he sneezes on you in the car, so he must really love Roxy too. Perhaps the burp means "I had a lovely lunch." to a dog? I guess Roxy could have put a paw over his mouth or something to shush him from doing it again.

"Aint love grand?" as the old song says. Evidently Roxy didn't mind. Gissi, I'd put up with it from you - but NEVER from anyone else!

Well? Isn't that how most men are? Maybe I've known the wrong kind of men. They're totally upright and polite when you're dating but, once they get you, that's when the sometimes offensive bodily noises begin without shame. I never even knew my husband farted while we were dating. He has an uncanny ability to hold them in when he wants to and, sadly, that's not when he's around me anymore. He also snores like there's no tomorrow. He got a CPAP machine not long ago but only uses it occasionally. When he does use it, he'll end up removing it before morning. He doesn't burp, though. The man can't burp!!! I've never known even one other person who doesn't burp. But, he's weird in other ways, too, like he's never experienced brain freeze. He says it's weird that others get brain freeze but I tell him that he's the weird one for not getting it, ever. Oh, he eats and drinks lots of very cold things and can even down an entire milkshake in a minute without even the tiniest hint of pain between his eyes. Could you do that? I can't! So, I think that Gissi just feels extremely relaxed around Roxy, relaxed enough to inflict her with all of his, uhhh, charms???

Oh dear I think we need to have a little talk with Roxy. She should not take that kind of treatment from men even if they are irresistible like Gissi! That would have been quite amusing! Yes, we need to sit both of them down and teach Roxy how to stand up for herself and teach Gissi how to treat a lady!

well at least he cleaned her all up lololol

Maybe Gissi is allergic to Roxy. lol It is incredible that Roxy did not walk away.

Hi gabs, I think you have a big problem there. Teaching Gissi manners is not going to be easy, especially if Roxy doesn't seem to mind. Maybe she enjoys his kisses too much to be angry. You know what they say-love is blind. Blessings.

Hey Gabs! I don't know what to say about that little guy! I guess Roxy just loves him the way he is like we all do, bad manners and all!He sure has tested her! If she hasn't run away I guess it must be "Puppy Love"! Go Gissi!

Hahaha well what a gentleman ;p Gissi has much to learn with how to treat a lady huh? It is pretty funny tho. My dog burps in my face too and she's a girl! How rude.

Obviously, Roxy is madly in love with Gissi and will take any abuse, as long as she gets kisses, too.

Sounds like a typical man to me, haha. I'm surprised Roxy didn't stick her tail up and leave in a huff. Maybe all his kisses were his way of asking for forgiveness. Guys can be so goofy sometimes and forget everything they were taught when it comes to love. I think I would have laughed my head off though if I was there watching this!

hi gabs he he I can just see that Gissi and roxie, and i have a hunch,callme a romantic, that Roxie sort of likes getting Gissi kisses'and even the sneeze too, like a teen in love she will stand for most anything from her crush. but burps well she re ally must have a bad case of love. Gissi I bet did give you the look. oh no I would have walked away with the burp but then Gissi is one in a million and well'he is just Gissi the little man in the doggie suit. hugs from hatley to gabs and gissi too.

AWWWW Gabs... Gissi cannot help it as he is just being a TYPICAL MALE!!! Actually, Roxy was lucky that he didn't fart on her!!!! Roxy is obviously NOT an independent & confident female as she was only waiting on him to smother her with kisses once again. So, it appears that NO matter what he does to her, she is willing to accept it as long as she gets his sweet kisses behind it!!! Think about it...they are the PERFECT couple!!! (snickers)
