confirm my email??

On my facebook page I keep getting a message that says my email address is no longer valid. When I try to put it in it tells me it is invalid. Then when I click confirm my email it tells me it sent a confirmation email... which I don't get.. anyone know what is screwed up here?

Are you typing in the email address or using copy and paste? A common error in copy and paste that can befuddle almost anybody is a space before the text. It looks like--nothing. But if your address is 123@mail.com and it appears as 123@mail.com, it will not work. Facebook has a help desk but they are not much help. Are you getting other emails?

The difference I tried to point out is difficult to see because the formatting here is..primitive. If you have an empty space in front of the address, it will not work.

I understand what you are saying, in spite of the primitive formatting! I am getting my email fine, no problem with the account. Plus I have had this facebook account for like 3 years or so with no problems.. do I don't know what the deal is.. It's showing on my page not when I log in.. so that's what is so strange about it.

oh my, i sure hope you havent been hacked. that happened once with my myspace account. Who knows why someone would want to do that? its not like you have to enter a credit card or anything i mean, i dont know what they get out of it. but it happens.
