Savannas Fisrt NASCAR event

This past Saturday was a blast with my daughters family. We all went to the local NASCAR track for what was billed as R A W, racing and wrecking. A lot of fun. This was Savannas first time at a car race. She loved it and the npoise wasn't too bad for her. This is a shot of her with one of the Monster trucks there, Heartbreaker. She had a blast as did everyone else. Have you ever gone to NASCAR races of any type?

I use to go to stock car races a long time ago but have never been to a nascar race. I'm surprised the little one liked all that noise. I din't like it when i was young sure wouldn't now.

oh I would love to actually be at one of those. I used to love watching them on television much to my son's disgust. He like things like the Indy four hundred. well I do to for that matter but I like to watch the monster trucks and get a big kick out of it. I would also love to actually see an Indy four hundred. but its fun and lots of laughs to watch those monster trucks. good for Savanna.

This is a short track.
She loved every minute of it.
Especuially the Thunder part.
The announcer asks for the Elko thunder which is stopming your feet on the steel bleacher floor which creates a huge thunderous noise.

Been to lots of drag races and just love demolition derbies.
My son drives in the drag races now but has a hard time with his speed as he gets faster every time lol
He likes the 7.0 races where he just dails it in and then trys not to trip that laser light with his front wheels.
I would put the pic here of his car but myscanner quit on me grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

She's so precious!! Omg! I had to look for her in the picture, she's so tiny sitting on that huge tire! LOL Oh what a cutie she is.... and the wonderful memories in the making.... Way to go Grandpa Bob! Way to go!

Two heartbreakers, a monster and a pint-sized! 
My boys and I used to go to the Monster Truck events and some funny car races. We loved it when Robosaurus was there "eating" cars! It was something my husband enjoyed, too, so we went as often as we could manage.

I have never been to any events like that before. I hate loud noises though, so it would probably be too loud for me. My sister is really good friends with someone who's brother is a sprint car driver and my son might get to go see him race this summer sometime.
