Did you know you can get your infant or toddler in the Summer Reading Program at your library? I never would have thought it, but we took our son (6 months old) to the library with us today, and the librarian said we should get him in the program by us reading to him for 15 minutes or more a day. I took a sheet to keep track for him. I thought it was wonderful they let children 0-18 do it. I just wish our library also had a summer reading program for adults.

I used to go to it when I was younger. It was amazing. I remember that I loved it. So, I actually volunteered to help out. I haven't received a call back though.

They have a full range of things for the children too, including all ages story times that acutally count TOWARD their summer reading. Stephanie, I wonder why they didn't call you back. I know our local libraries LOVE volunteers.
