Growing up my Mother said "No" to me MUCH more than my Dad ever did. When I got older he told me that was because it just seemed more a mother's place to discipline a girl child as opposed to a man. With my daughter I think I say "yes" more to her than her dad might but since it is just me with her 90% of the time I'm not entirely sure.

Has dad ever not saying No come back to bite him and run into problems with the kids later in life.

I would have to say in our house it would be dad, cause he isnt home as much with the kids as I am.

Exactly what happens in my home too. Dad is never around so has a hard time saying NO. Thanks for responding.
