I am glad I bought crocs for my kids. I always thought they were kind of ugly. My mother-in-law bought one for my older daughter when she was a year old and she wore it constantly. I changed my mind after that. She looks good in it, fits her nice and she wore it for a long time. She has outgrown them, but it is still good enough for her sister.
So when my younger daughter was 9 months and she started walking, I bought her the smallest size available. She is now 11 months and started to outgrow them, but she will use her sister's hand me down. The older one has two pairs now, one she is wearing and the other one one size bigger for when she outgrow another one.

That is a beautiful story, I am so glad the boy didn't suffer any worse damage, though I am sure the fright from the shock scared him very much, and the pain must have been very intense for his little body to handle.
I always thought that Crocs were a cool invention, and this story proves it, though it's sad it happened at all.

yup. but we cannot deny the publicity and a free one at that that this incident gave the humble, ugly but useful crocs.

guess it's time for Time's 50 worst inventions to retract Crocs to its list

Hi, Ritchelle. I was just telling my daughters just yesterday that I plan to get me some Crocs. Now I see that I really want me a couple of pairs. I am glad that the little boy is alive. I am so sorry that he has experienced this accident.
I am glad to know that his Crocs saved his life.

It is the material rubber acts as an insulator. My nan told be about somebody who was leaning against a gate which was struck by lightning all she got was singed hair because she was wearing rubber soled wellies.

i felt sorry for the little boy i know its painful as i experience it myself though mine was just mild and since then im already scared of touching anything with cord if i do i always wrap it with cloth
anyway, i dont like the design of crocs i find it ugly
but i guess any rubber sandals will do not just crocs.

Thanks for sharing the link.
Yes, electricity can be the worst enemy and killer if not handled properly; it can be the best friend if handled with due care.He was saved because of the non-conducting soles only, lucky chap.
