my cheeks turn bright red when I'm drunk, I think it's very annoying...

Why are you adding water? I think I missed something here....

well...sometimes drinking it 'neat' is a bit too strong from some people, hence they'd be adding different types of 'mixers' just to tone down the string taste. there are those who add cola, or ginger ale, or soda water, or even some other type of drink to it. but one of the more purer mixers is water. water dilutes the whiskey a little bit without distorting the overall taste of the drink

Am not sure if what I am about to share can be classified as anecdote or not. Whatever. It is true incident though. When Winston Churchill was Prime Minister of England, he got drunk at a party. One woman came up to him and said disapprovingly, 'Mr. Prime Minister, You are drunk' Churchill replied, 'Yes Madam, I am drunk; and you are ugly. Tomorrow, I will be sober; but you will still be ugly' Can you just picture Churchill's monotone to go along with the words!!!!
