Buying or constructing a house is extremely difficult if you have a limited budget. You make all scrifices and ultimately construct a house dreaming that you and your family would reside in this happy home. I also constructed a house at Bhopal which has four big-sized rooms, attached with bathrooms, two toilets are extra, Drawing and Dining, Kitchen, store etc. There are three big size terraces, a good size porch, rain water harvesting, boring. All facilities are here. The house is surrounded by boundary wall with iron fence over them so that nobody could try to sneak in. Plot size is more that 2700 sft and built-up around 3500 sft. But what is the use. Both my sons are serving at different locations and they are not likely to come and settle at Bhopal. Now when I am trying to sell it, people are not coming forward because I am demanding price of around 55 lacs in Indian currencies which is at least Rs 10 lacs less. So what is the use of buying or constructing a house.

Buying a house in my home country is expensive. The average price is high and the price varies in different locations. Building land is in short supply and builders usually get hold of it. It is difficult for an ordinary person to get their hands of building land for a reasonable price. I think people buy a house in order to live in it. It can be a challenging market when trying to sell a house. I have sold my house subject to contract and I hope to buy a bungalow.
