If you could extend your house what would you add to it? You might need to put in an extra bedroom if you have had a baby recently. Possibly you might want to add an indoor swimming pool. You might wish to add an extra sitting room for your family. I think a study would be useful for many different people. Maybe you would like to add an extra bathroom or shower room.
Would you like to extend your house?
If so what would you add to it?
If not is your house already big enough for you?

Sure I would, but it's not my house! LOL However, if it was and I had the money I would like to add either another bedroom or a weight room.
So, what about you maxi? Would you like to extend your house? If so, what would you add and why?

We live in a house that we have rented and we are not able to change it much. It is a one story house and if we had the chance to change it I would like to turn it into a two story house, so that we could have some extra bedrooms upstairs. I would also like to have a balcony. It has always been one of my dreams to live in a house with a balcony, because I think that it would be really nice to be able to paint, read or write outside. If my husband and I buy a house one day, I hope that there will be a big balcony

If I could extend my house, I had many ideas. I hope to have a bigger kitchen, as I enjoy cooking. I also like to have a swimming pool so that we can enjoy swimming together. I wish I could have a garden so that I could plant some herbs, fruits and vegetables. If possible, I would want to have one more room so that we had no problem to put a piano there.
I love China

I wish I had a basement. That is the only regret my hubby and I have about our house. We bought it 9 years ago and have wanted a basement almost ever since. The attic isn't really storage friendly and my guest closets are bursting at the seems with stuff I need to store for Christmas. I am pretty good about getting rid of stuff that I don't really need or use anymore. I am not a pack rat. I probably still have some stuff that I need to get rid of but, not a whole lot. So, I can't blame myself for my lack of storage space in relation to what I have to store.
So...a basement. If I could extend my house, I would extend it downward and make a basement. Now, in addition to extra storage space, I would put a little workout room in there and a game room. I might do a little bar down there. I would also put in an extra living/family room. I would have another refrigerator down there in the bar/kitchenette so that I could have more room in the fridge during the holidays. Yes...a basement would make my life so much more simple and less busting at the seams. LOL!
Only thing I wouldn't like would be that it would add more room for me to have to clean. So, instead of 4 or 4.5 hours a week, it would probably be 6 to 8 hours a week. LOL!

My house is too big. But if I were going to expand it, I'd add a guest room.

If I could extend my house, I would like to add sound-proof room where I can put my home entertainment appliances so I cannot disturb everybody when I feel like singing for a longer period of time as well as a room where I can put all my computer stuff and drawing table.

A combination green house and sun room. My house is big enough for me, but I need a place where the sun shines right in. Right now, I have a nice cool farm house and that's great in the summer, but a sun room would be better in the winter. While we, as a family, have enough room, plants to the level that I would like do not.

I rent my house, so I would not be able to do anything like that to it. If this were my home I would add on another bedroom and bathroom and maybe even make the kitchen a little bigger. The yard is big enough to add on to the house, but I would not have the money for it either.

If I was staying in this home I would love to extend the back of the entire house to make the sunroom, and three bedrooms a little bigger. That would be great to me. However, the house is up for sell and I hope it sells really soon.

I live in a mobile home. I would love to extend it in all areas if i could. Bigger rooms and extra space would be great to have. The kitchen would be the first place I would start this renovation. The kitchen never seems ro be big enough to suit my needs. Oh the things that we wish for.

if i could extend my house more i will make a room which is exclusively for me. in that room i will have a bed for me , a library ,and of course a laptop, a small t.v. too, and a small stove for small cooking like making a tea, or an omlette. this room cannot be open for every one. no one is permitted to enter my room other than me. i need a attached bathroom too so that i can live in that room as much i can without getting bored. how is my idea? do you have any idea like this?
