Hiya jugs, Face book has two faces one good and the other well better not mention it. Sorry to hear you found them out like that. I only speak to a couple of People on Face book and don´t have any problems as such. But I have read other Profiles and the languages they use is really terrible. All they ever seem to do is run each other down some of them. I suppose it´s like they need to paint Graffiti on the Walls of something and because they can´t they put it all on there instead.

I just found out that one so called friend is stabbing another friend in the back and yet they are up their ,,,, a mile when they see them aswell as to me that makes the person two faced a not a person you can trust which in one way did not shock me but to read it just confirmed it.I agree with you thats why i tend just to go straight to the inbox and do not read anything on there other than messages.

I am like you i have learned to harden up aswell over the years.I have also heard enough now about other friends from what are supposed to be their friends.I think that i will be making it quite clear to all of them that i have heard aswell as read enough of what they say about other people aswell as seen them being pally the next minuite so i do know when they are not with me that is what they are doing to me aswell perhaps in the end all their nasty sides will stop then.I think they will always be like that though as people like that do not tend to change.

Hiya jugs, That is a real shame it really is. Would have thought that what People think of each other they could at least keep it between themselves and not hang dirty washing out on Public lines for all to see. Not that I would be shocked either. I did not need Face book to find out that I was being talked about blind behind my back while I was looking after my Mom over there in England. Luckily the People who have always known me in that Street don´t have the same opinion about me. It was a very close relative that was doing all the "good work" spreading untrue things about me so I have learned to be a lot harder since then as well.

Oh, facebook can be a horrible place to make true friends. Though Myspace is different, I remember when my daughter first got a profile and had made friends with her youth group..I guess the backstabbing happened so much, she deleted most form her friend list..

I think that seeing all that people were saying aswell as what they were doing just confirmed what i already though aswell as have known about in the past, some people never change no matter what.Just for once i was not getting stabbed in the back, but i know all the people that have been yet the next minuite they are really pally with the person they are still bad mouthing, how two faced is that.

I as well am experiencing problems there and even had to delete my daughter because though she didn't back stab me, she kept cussing on my wall and she knew I would delete it..Maybe you should just delete the problem friend(s) and go on, enjoy the rest of your friends..

I don't Facebook much. I joined it only because my sons insisted and I can keep track of them there. I also am friends there with my ex-sister in law, a wonderful person I've known over 20 years. My few other friends are a couple people from the guitar forum I've been a member of for over a decade and these friends are ones that I have actually met once or twice and speak with on the internet a few times a week. I'm VERY selective about the friends I have on Facebook! I'm probably the least "friended" person on the site but at I truly know every one of them. If you have so-called friends who are causing you trouble, de-friend them and be very selective who you choose in the future. I hope you get it sorted out!

I rarely go on there only to see what messages that i have got in my inbox as that is where all my friends leave me messages as that way noone else can read them.I find that having a read has confirmed what i had thought about a few people on there aswell as a few that do not get to go on there.

Now i remember why i do not go on there anymore much as all i wanted to know was had i got a few messages from a few people as i have been waiting to hear about a few dates aswell and when someone was popping money to me that they owe.I think i will stick to the other two social net works i belong to as they are all adults on there or they act like adults should i say.

hi jugsjugs the more I hear about Facebook the more I have decided its not for me, I am too thin skinned and when people pick on me I am often brought to tears. I do not like backstabbers or false friends either. I will just stick to mylot insteadas most of mylot friends are truly friends and I am really happy here too.

My eight year old daughter has already mentioned that as soon as she’s old enough she wants to join Facebook and I will be saying something about that when the times comes! The Internet can be a dangerous place and it is not just Facebook that can actually be a hazard to young people. A young girl was murdered by someone she met on Facebook but she could have met him anywhere on the Net. We all know about the precautions we need to take to protect ourselves and our children. In regards to two faced back stabbers...It’s amazing what you can learn by reading other people’s walls!

I think that there are friends out there that are two faced but i could not even believe that they had confirmed it to all their other friends on face book as now everyone is going to be thinking do they also back stab them aswell when they are not about.I have heard about the persons murder after they met on facebook, but like you say there are other sites aswell as chat rooms she could have met a person from.

sometimes i laugh to see the status and comments in facebook. those status actually is not from my real friends. they just add me and i receive it. but i guess there is nothing wrong to approve a friend request from a funny stranger. they help make my day

hi jugs, well well its true and i agree. there's really so much things to see in there and it also reflect some of our so called friends' characters. and you know sometimes it build or destroy relationships. i know some people around me who got some misunderstandings and almost break their friendship just because of those status messages that they have written. but only few are like that coz i still see some status messages from my friends that are inspiring and with good messages. i like those who wrote messages that give something to think about and i kinda hate those who wrote non sense like 'eating, drinking my fav coffee...blah blah!"

I think that by reading all that these people had put on facebook as a status aswell as other people wall to wall was quite interesting and lets just say now i know they are all stabbing each other in the back and then being two faced as the next minuite they are sucking up to them also shows the two faced side aswell.I hate it when people put just going to the loo, back soon eating my dinner, yumyum.

Sorry to hear you have found some two faced friends. I count myself lucky to have not run across such things in a public forum like facebook.

I have now learnt a few more things about a few more friends now so really it is a blessing as i would rather know than not know.I think people that stab their friends in the back who then suck up to the person that they have been back mouthing are the kind of people that enjoy trying to split up other friendships that did used to be proper friendships.

It's the place where people sometimes show their true colors unknowingly. I can see the day and age where facebook statuses and comments can be used as evidence in court

I think that you are right there.I think by reading on what this person had put aswell as the things that i was told by another so called friend then i guess that they are also stabbing me in the back every now and again when they all get together, lol.

HI, Jugs. So far, I haven't encountered any problem with my Facebook but there was once an incident which almost led to the severance of friendship who posted the pictures of her dying officemate. The officemate was in such a bad state that I commented on the photo that it is in bad taste to be posting photos like that and she reasoned out that..blah,blah...blah...That almost broke our friendship, but now we're sort of friends again.

I think that alot of people do not think before they put things up on facebook so they just think that noone will notice what they have put. There are also alot of their other friends that are not on there but saying that there are alot of people out there that do see all.But it is the people that back stab and then are soo two faced that get to me as i think other people now will be thinking do they stab them in the back when they are not with them.I would never trust this kind of person again and i did have a feeling that they were a bit of a stirrer.

Yeah FB is just like any other site you have to be careful what you say. Choose "friends" carefully. Also you never know who looks at what is posted. Even companies or possible employers check it. out. Two faced people are everywhere. Just be careful and take nothing too seriously.

Truth is the only reason I joined Facebook to begin with was cuz of my granddaughters. I've been barraged with friend requests and do not know most of them. I stay away from Facebook.

Well, it was through facebook last week that my wallet that had been lost for sixteen years is going to be reunited with me, which I find to be very exciting and also very strange. In addition to that, I have seen that there are people that I thought were friends that are indeed two faced and backstabbing. If it weren't for some of the things that I've learned as a result of being on facebook, I would think that the people that are members of the playgroup that I've been involved with for the past nearly four years were really friends, but I've instead learned that they are two faced liars.

Oh yes Facebook can cause or be a lot of drama sometimes. It is kinda funny tho when I can use it to catch someone in a lie. I mean if you're going to lie about something, don't be dumb enough to post the truth on your facebook! But I don't really status updates and stuff. I stick to just posting to my page and sending messages to a few close friends. The rest is just filler on the page.
