I have heard a lot of debates about FreeMasonry, stating that they are a cult. In my experience, as a member of the Masonic Family, I think they are not. But, I do give the benefit of the doubt to everyone. What do you guys think?

My dad was a member of the Masonic lodge back home for many years. I don't really know why he stopped attending the meetings, but he doesn't go to them any more. I do not think they are a cult. They do good things in the communities they call home, and they are ready and willing to help out in a time of crisis...

That is good to hear that people think of Free Masons to be good people. Maybe your dad had better things to do rather than attend meetings. They are free to choose what to do. Hopefully, more people will see the good in the Masons rather than see them as a cult.

I actually probably wouldn't mind becoming a member of the Masonic lodge myself, but from what I hear, it is hard to become a member...

They are a great organization that are pretty much secretive in what they do, but they are the first people to help out your family when they are in trouble. :)

Yes, that is right. Free Masonry is by far one of the most righteous fraternities worldwide. They also have other fraternities under their wing, which are DeMolay, Rainbow for Girls, and The Order of Job's Daughter. Luckily, I am a member of one of these fraternities. And I have seen first hand what Masons do.
