Ok so I have really thin hair that doesn't do anything. It's flat and frizzy. I decided that I'm sick of having ugly hair, so I've been trying really hard to change that. I just got a new haircut and the stylist did soft spirals in my hair with a flat iron. It turned out really nice and I liked it a lot. I bought a new flat iron that day, so that I can have a really good one and do my hair. I tried to do the spirals. I did exactly what she did! Or so I thought, but I must be doing something wrong because it did nothing. It just made my hair frizzier! Why does that happen?? I don't understand how a flat iron will make my hair frizzier when people use a flat iron to get rid of their frizz. I looked on youtube and found a bunch of videos and they were all doing the exact thing that I was. I went out and bought some hair products that a girl was using in one video doing the spirals. It made no difference. I also found some videos of girls twisting the iron back and forth to make waves, but my hair won't do that either! I am just so tired of having ugly hair and trying so hard and getting no results. Can someone please help me? If you have any tips or tricks at all, please tell me. I'm willing to try pretty much anything. Although it feels like I've tried everything.

Be careful not to over do it with your hair. If you use the flat iron too much it may be causing your hair to friz because it is drying it out. Make sure that you are using a good conditioner for heat treated hair. Then go back to the salon and have the hair dresser take you through step by step what she did and if she has a minute have her let you try it.

That's the thing though. I've always had frizzy hair and I hardly ever use any heat on it at all. This is the first time that I've blowed dryed it or used a straightener in years. I've tried tons of different shampoos and conditioners, expensive to cheap brands. But yes I was thinking of going back to the salon to try and figure it out.
