Hewlett Packard (HP) announced on Monday that their latest range of printers will let users print remotely using mobile phones and other wireless devices, without needing a traditional PC. HP's Inkjet and Laserjet lines along with other consumer and enterprise-level printers will have the capability, called ePrint, to print from Web-connected devices. Printers with the ePrint capability will be assigned its own e-mail address. So, if someone wants to print a document from an iPhone, the document will go to HP's data center, where it is rendered into the correct format, and then sent to the person's printer. The whole process will take about 25 seconds. The printers will also be able to support third-party applications. Live Nation, for example, will have a customized application to print items such as concert tickets and logistical information. Furthermore, HP is also pushing a service called Scheduled Delivery, where people can set up a daily feed of content that will be printed at a regular time, such as news content from MSNBC dot com or kids' activities from Disney. HP has brought about another level to remote printing. Read more: http://www.pcworld.com/article/198171/hp_enables_remote_printing_via_an_email_address.html

This is a big improvement and I like it. I just wonder whether it can support to print the photos well. Try to imagine the photo file can be very large and I am not sure how long time it will take to send to the printer. I love China

youless, As far as the resolution is concern, I do not think there's any problem as their current printers are all photo quality enabled. I do not think there will be any problems as it is said to be able to print the entire web page without any hassle, so I do not think there will be any problems. Just check out with your nearest HP dealer and I am sure you would be able to know more about this feature.

kingkrunal, You can say that again as it sure beats the traditional cumbersome IP address way. All it takes is that the printer be internet access enabled and the rest will just take care of itself. Just look out for the latest range of HP printers and you should be able to enjoy it. Have a nice day.
