Writing a Response

Do you write a response even though the discussion already has 10 or more responses to it. Sometimes i look at this and think oh i don't need to respond because other people already have and they have enough responses to read alread. Now if the discussion is something i find i really really want to respond to then i will, but i still feel at times there is enough responses to some discussions. If you write a response what do you look at before writing the response? I look at the topic and try and read the two lines of it before opening it to see if i even want to respond to it. Also looking at the response numbers is a big thing for me.

Yes, I do still post. I post especially if I have something to say that would benefit the poster of the discussion or further a discussion. The point of myLot is to discuss and that's why I try to do. It doesn't matter if the discussion has 500 responses. That's all the better!

Yes i always read carefully discussions being posted here, and its very important that they fall under my line of interests. I really don't check how many have responded to a discussion, in fact i never browse downward to see the trend of responses. For my, its very important that i feel that i have something to say about the topic being discussed..not to inform always, or say im more right..but just to participate in discussions in a friendly manner always. yes as I do not give a fig how many other responses there are,if its my friends post and I enjoy the topic I am going to post my response. thats what discussions are for is to respond to them and for the discussion maker to comment back. I do not count responses or comments or discussions as that's too time consuming and really not worth my time. I enjoy mylotting, being with my friends here and making some earnings. so I do not waste time on the counting game. I read all of the discussion so my response makes sense then respond and do not tarry. I think if you relax and go with the flow you will really make more earnings.I do not ever pay any attention to how many responses there were only to how much work I have done and will I have enough to pay my internet bill. I want to enjoy my time here and counting stuff is not enjoyable to me.

If the discussion interests me, I'll respond whether there are 1 or 100 responses. I usually read through the first page, to see what other people are saying, then I go in with my bit. One thing about MyLot is that quality matters, not quantity, so I never consider how many responses are already up there. If I feel I have a valid point to contribute to the discussion, I'll go ahead and do it.

i respond to topics that interest me. i don't usually look at how many responses there are already. i read through some of the responses tho, especially if the one who started the discussion comments back.

This is very difficult. In some cases the discussion has been more a question - and if that question has been answered in the way that you would answer on several occasions it doesn't really seem right to put down the exact response. And yet is I do know the answer I do like to answer !!

I don't think that it matters how many responses there are already. If it is a good discussion topic, then it is likely that everyone who responds will have something original and different to say. Topics which are likely to command a limited range of answers are mostly of the kinds which are already detailed in the Guidelines under 'DON'T ...'! They are not the kind of thing that MyLot wants to see or reward, anyway. I try to read the discussion topic carefully to decide what the person is really trying to say (it is very often NOT what the title says and sometimes not exactly what is stated in the topic). I then look at, at least, the first three or four responses before responding myself (often I read them all), in case I can add information or ideas based upon what others have said. I try to always make my responses relevant and original, clear and concise and meaningful and of value. If I can't easily write at least two short paragraphs, then I consider that it's probably not worth my while replying (unless the topic is just a simple request for information which is easily supplied). I don't always (or even often) think about what I will earn by posting but I do always have in mind whether or not I am giving value and whether I myself would think that my post merits a '+'.

I respond to discussions that have interesting topics, or are of interest to me. I don't really think about how many responses are already there. I will also respond to old discussions that may have been posted months or years ago.

Hi Friend, I think its a wrong thought of yours. Don't look at the number of responses in a discussion, just respond to it if it is interesting to you.I used to do so.And that what we are supposed to do here,Say what you have to say on the topic. Happy to see this topic in Today's Top discussions, and you see here its already you got 11 responses and am still responding to your topic,ah,the reason is i found its interesting to me. Good Luck dear friend.

I've noticed when creating the response is a topic of discussion. I give my response in the discussion that I could really give a response. If I do not have any idea, to respond to a discussion, I do not make a response.

I try to respond on every topic I can when I get a chance to be on. If it does have a lot of responses I still do respond because every little bit helps. It's just like when you start a discussion and you have a lot of responses you get paid more. I try to look at the size of my responses to make sure the quality of it is good. I try to write at least a paragraph so people can get a real answer out of me.

I guess I will write a response in a particular discussion even though there are already 10 or more responses on it if what I want to say have not been said about by the previous responders.
