why Dot Net called Object Oriented..?

Hey friends i want to know that why every person say to dot net as a Object Oriented languages.. mostly people says that this programming language is based on OOPS concept.. so i want to know why we called it Object Oriented.. please help..

well. in dot net everything related to object.. i mean you have to create first object to access control and other thing.. may be thats why its called object oriented ..

.net is a technology. And there are number of languages supported by this. And those are object oriented. Why they are object oriented there is a simple reason and as they follow the oops concepts they are called the object oriented languages.
