There is no denying that the Aquino family had today put their blood stamp on the Filipino consciousness and being. And with this country claiming datus and rajas for its royal heritage, the Aquinos could very well be our modern day royalty. With the proclamation of Noynoy Aquino as president of the republic, the family is set to commence a trend to as far as where a Filipino can be traced. I am glad that this family is blessed with courage and strength, sincerity and honesty. God truly bestows much to those who humble themselves for the betterment of their people.

hi eileenlyeva, I just love the aquino family..I have so much hope in our President noy2x, thus all of us.. there is not impossible. we filipinos need to cooperate to noy2x not just doing political rallies. President Noynoy cannot make this on his own nor his family, everyone , each politician and filipinos should cooperate...if we want change we have to accept what is not normal and should not complain lang.. Better philippines with President Noy2x Aquino Administration

yes we should just accept the new president and never complain when things go wrong as long as Noynoy is the President, and people shouldn't complain and blindfold when they see something wrong. well, i think am through complaining, i have seen the proclamation, so that's it. Noy-Bi is the BEST!. COOPERATE! COOPERATE! COOPERATE! (if you expect me to say something like that, then you've got to be kidding me, but i won't complain,I'll do my own public service, and watch)

The parallelism is spot on. In the early days of Filipino civilization, one of the more important job of the reigning datus and rajas was to protect and provide for its people. Datus and rajas did not just leech off their subjects. I noticed that Aquino is really intent on delivering on his promise, unlike his predecessor who was more interested in what the presidency could give her. I hope Noynoy, like the datus and rajas will also protect and provide for the Philippines.

yeah, the Aquinos are the blue bloods. i have high respect for Ninoy Aquino, Sr. and former president, Cory Aquino. They were great leaders. they loved the Philippines up to their last breath. i think they really deserve the royal treatment. but that greatness doesn't really transcend to their kin. I mean, Noynoy has been in politics for a long time now. I haven't really heard too much greatness about him, but it's worth giving the guy a shot. after all, he's an aquino. i just hope that their youngest sister would act royalty. i think this girl has some status issue. she has to be a little proper for the sake of the name Aquino. she oughta be tact.

Hello there, So, is this a good thing or a bad thing? the era of the raja and sultans are of the old age, some don't even have they're own vehicles i guess that explains why there some pictures of noy having a crown on his head, don't worry i didn't join, too much nonsense. I believe God does bestows to those who are humble with humility. well, i have seen people being humble but [b]his so called being humble will be tested for six whole years. if there was a person i knew was humble and didn't criticize other people, it was gibo. oh, what the heck, who listens to people like me, anyways Just watch the damn video, am sure it's made people cry.. losing candidates cannot hold any appointive government positions for the span of one year after the elections or until June 30 next year. that's what i've heard.

I'm not pro Aquino family, but I can also accept defeat. I just wish he'll do good. It's not enough to just be better than the former president. He has to really exceed expectations. As for support, I think all administrations would have worked if the people supported the administration. I think it's unfair to ask for support just because he won. We should support every president we get elected. We should minimize gloating and resolve to rallying when all means to get heard have been exploited. Whoever the president may be will fail if we fail to cooperate. That's what's been happening to our country for the longest time. We keep on blaming our misfortune to our leaders, when in fact, we are also largely to blame. As for being the Filipino Royalty, I wouldn't go that way. Most monarchies have a lot of beggars in their streets. I'd rather not have a "royalty" as my leader but someone more of a "regular" person. Royalties think like royalties. they think about themselves, the people is only secondary. The datus and rajas worked before because it was usually by clan. The datus and rajas are able to make wise decisions because they're communities were small and they were family.
