ever wonder what camera would stand the test of time and it's pressures? now we know what to buy. this news sort of reminds me of the time when cell phones were new. i was thinking of what model to buy and this sales guy regaled me with the tale of a motorola star tac that was in the case of a vehicular accident. the car was ruined but the phone was found still functioning . maybe the phone was lucky but this nikon camera recently in the spotlight is real proof that it isn't just a name that we pay for. sometimes we get a lot more than what we expect. imagine water wasn't able to ruin this nikon camera for six months of it being in the waters . http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100614/ap_on_re_us/us_camera_s_odyssey
