Well not real bees. I am talking about my Beebalm flowers. These are what's called a fall bloomer. But this year it seems they'll bloom earlier than usual due to very warm and wet spring. Anyhow this is just one flower of a few that have started to form. It also is a bee attractant. It helps to have them around as they pollinate everything else around my yard, garden, and flower beds. Do you like seeing the bees around your flowers etc each year?

We also are having a wet and warm season, but my bee balm have not bloomed and I hope they do..They are also in the same bed my lilies are and though they have grown, they may not be getting the water needed with my husbands junk in the way..

I forgot, yes I do like seeing the bees around my flowers..When I didn't know better and hated them for their stinging, I now understand that without bees, we will starve..So the more bees, the better..

I have a lot of day lilies in the same bed and they took over this spring. I've cut them to the ground and plan on transpling them all to another area. They stunted the growth of my beebalm this year it seems.

I really thought you were talking about the real bees.
I am afraid of the real bees but I like to see bees as miniature object.
Anyway, I haven't seen Beebalm flower yet.

My beebalm is starting to come up but I don't know how well it'll do this year. Not many came up last year so......
It's always good to see the bees hard @ work.
I just wish I saw more of them than I do.

I love bees! They are pretty and without them we would have very little to eat, maybe nothing!
I've been stung by a bee just once in my life and that's because I stepped on it by accident when I was barefoot as a child. Bees are peaceful and won't bother you if you don't bother them, something we humans should learn to do.

Hey Grandpa Bob! I know that flowers bring bees and that is
one problem that I have about being anywhere near flowers! I
love flowers, but am allergic to bees! If I get stung again I
could die so not too thrilled to take chances near heavily
populated bee attracting flowers!lol I carry an Epipen, but
still don't like to have to smell the flowers and pray that
I'm not in the line of stingers!

I used to have some wild Beebalm, but do not remember when it bloomed. I would like to have some more (hint) I have not really noticed bees, but things are getting pollinated, so they must be there.

hi Grandpa Bob I loved having bees around as they kept everything
pollinized. Did you know in my home state in the Black Hills in the high meadows Beebalm grows wild and so lovely. We took some home and transplanted them into our garden and our bees loved them. My dad had a large aviary and sold tons of honey during the second world war.Now they raise them in the nurseries and its so interesting. I expect to find Indian Paint brush plants in a nursery someday. They grow wild in the high meadows of South
Dakota.
