.com and .net registration charges are going to increase...

Hi friends,
You might would not know that VeriSign®, the organization who manages the .COM and .NET registry, has announced a price increase beginning on July 1, 2010.
This is a really said news for guys who are looking for bought of .com and .net domain. But still we have time to buy the domain.
What is mylottians response on that.....

i am confused as the details of .com and .net registration are not maintain by any organisation to earn profit. they are maintained by ICANN. and versign is a company for getting a certificate of SSL security etc. so i dont think they will really affect the cost of domains.

Hi friend,
You might know that there is a settlement the two parties ICANN and verisign reached in 2006. And according to that settlement verisign can increase domain pricing as one of the benefits granted to the company by ICANN.....
However verisign contract ending in 2012 and may be there is some price decay in 2012.....

yes i already heard that news.it happens because of in the future the tele communication is not work any where i forget the correct date i think it is 2013 the entire tele communication is down due to the nature pollution.then web sites are only working thats the registration is increases.

What are you talking about i simply would not understand.
In the statement and announcement from verisign people, they announced that they are going to increase to generate more money for infrastructure improvements.
