This seems to be on all of our minds. How to and who should secure our borders. With the White House sitting on their hands and possibly extorting the situation - http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2342093.aspx http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2342003.aspx http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2343079.aspx?p=1#2_21317864 There is talk of how to handle this http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2341787.aspx http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2343190.aspx (my favorite) Now I see this - http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/06/25/congresswoman-raises-red-flag-hezbollah-cartel-nexus-border/ Iran-tied terror group Hezbollah may be colluding with drug cartels along the U.S.-Mexico border, a Republican congresswoman warned what to do what to do- I responded to a discussion here that maybe have our military, national guard, militias and private citizens stand shoulder to shoulder at our border. Armed and dangerous. I say we take back our country. We DEMAND safety for our citizens “I have no fear that the result of our experiment will be that men may be trusted to govern themselves without a master.”~ Thomas Jefferson “Danger - if you meet it promptly and without flinching - you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!”~ Winston Churchill quote Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism.~George Washington

What is it with Mexico. You never hear of things kinds of things with the Canada border. They seem to know how to behave themselves.

I live on the Canadian border state, pretty near the border myself actually, a rural part of it at that. It's a whole other planet up here. What an amazing difference and contrast from the Mexican border.

I grew up on a town that bordered Canada, NOTHING like the same problems!

Heck, with so many folks out of work with nothing to do, might as well go down there and defend the boarder. I wish someone would organize a boarder security militia on a national level and put on a telethon to raise money for it.

I agree X but like with everything else, they eventually have to give a little when they realize that the American people are doing this.

The problem with doing that Spalli is that most of the media wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole except to mock it a bunch of dangerous right wing nuts. MSNBC in particular would have a field day with it (Mathews would blow a vein), but even Fox would call them "right wing extremists". There is a very disgusting stigma placed on a very noble institution these days.

Demand also that the corrupt and fawning media report the truth of what is actually and factually happening as they sell our souls and freedom out for a government of, by, and for Obama.

You can demand that but really cant enforce other than to ignore them. That is what I try to do, ignore the "press" that take their freedoms for granted.
