It sounds like you have freaking hungry friends. I mean really, don't they get fed at home or something. I don't mind people licking their fingers, they just must not make any noises while doing it. I would rather prefer them using a napkin or something. But as it is men, we can try and ignore that bad manners. Do you lick your fingers in public places?? TATA.

I have a friend who does that. After she finishes her plate she licks every single finger, including the ones that didn't touch the food! The worst is when she goes back for seconds and puts her hands in the dish. I sooo love it when we eat pizza with her and she touches several pieces trying to get one loose! I am embarrassed to say anything to her about it, because I simply do not know how she would take it. She's a little off sometimes and is on medication. The greatest luck though--now she lives in a different state so I do not have to see her licking her fingers after eating. If your mates are close friends, perhaps you should bring it up to them. They may not realize how disgusting it is to watch, let alone leaving their germs everyplace they touch afterward. After all, if they go on dates with girls and the girls witness this habit, there may be no more dates with the girl. That is unless the girl has the same habit. It sounds as if they were not taught proper etiquette at home and someone may need to teach them the proper ways to eat in public.

No,whether i am in a public place or not i will not gonna rush in eating my food. I always chew my food slowly.

Ewww, that is gross. Well this is something new and I like it: a buffet restaurant where I ate yesterday had disinfectant spray stations to use after handling the communal utensils. They all should do that. Whenever I have to shake hands with someone, then I rush off to wash them at the first opportunity afterward. Hopefully discretely, but oh, well...

I've had a friend who always share food with his friends. They would each have a burger but share the fries and he would hurry and eat all the fries and then take his time eating the burger. My friends never ate their food hurriedly or try to hog all the food so I wouldn't know how to handle a situation like that but I guess if they are good friends, I'll let them me.

Hi sunny! I have a big problem with messy eaters! I have a girlfriend who makes me when I go out to eat with her. It has gotten so bad that I just can't go out to eat with her anymore. She has food all over her face and she just has no idea! She's the only friend I have that is like this and she is a grown woman with a grown son! Ewwwww! If anyone would ever lick their fingers in my presence I would tell them to "Get up and wash them right now"! And I have another girlfriend who is the complete opposite! She will ask for a cup of hot water to sterilize the silverware right at the table! My friends are insane!

The only reason I have in mind is that they were hungry, some people are like that they don't mind taking a huge bite on their food and rushing to finish it. I can compare that to a construction workers, they do eat like they are always on the rush because of their work.

Subjective indeed, but that's the way it is - HAHA. I actually don't mind someone licking his/her finger in front of me, but I would be kind of worried about where that finger heads to next.

no i don't do such thing. why? is there a need to hurry up? but if there is ill still take the food in a nice way and respect it as it is a gift from god.

i must say i do rush taking food in my collage canteen because its too crowdy u see we are given limited amount of time to eat so we have to rush though we have time left out we ll use it for other purposes like playing

lol i don't mind anyone licking his fingers while eating especially if his eating a buttered chicken of course we use our hands to eat for sometimes i don't mind it at all because i use my my finger too.in my country eating with hands is acceptable as long we wash our hands thoroughly it is part of being a Filipino tradition.

well all i can say is that they will be sorry one day when they get older it will catch up with them. i think that i would ask them if they where ever taught any manner's and hand them a napkin. the thing about the coke bottle i hope you have sence enough not to drink after all them people i would tell them to buy one of there own and leave mine alone.

Eww. That's so disgusting. I won't shake hands with that person. I'll just wave my hand and not offer a shake hand. XD I don't rush eating except when I'm about to walk at a very polluted place.
