greatest regret

Most of us have regrets in life that sometimes we are ashamed to admit. As for me, my greatest regret is having a tattoo in my hand. Whenever my children notice this, I can't help but hate myself because of my stupidity way back in my college days. I'm planning to let it be erased but I'm afraid, i could acquire a disease if the needle would not be clean. What will I do?

I think we all do silly things in life that we regret for me that is part of life. When I was in college I completed my course and had the chance to go to university and get a degree but I passed up on the choice as I grew bored of education that's my biggest regret but I suppose that I can always go back and finish it. It's never to late to go back and change things I think in life its important to look forward and not backwards and life goes on. You should never really regret anything

It's not a big mistake actually that is already irreversible. You can still do something about it, just have it erased by a professional or someone you know that uses a clean or sterile instruments. You should not regret it. At least you were able to experience to have a tattoo and enjoyed it. You can explain it properly to your children anyways.

As I was reading your post, I compared it to how my friend regretted having a tattoo on her lower back which expresses her love for her boyfriend then. She had the tattoo last March and a month after that, her boyfriend of 2 years broke up with her for another girl. She is still hurting now and regretted having a tattoo done for that guy. But she really loved him then, you couldn't stop someone so inlove for doing a thing that eventually she'll regret in the end. Unfortunately for her, she did. She thought of erasing the tattoo just like you. But instead, she covered it up with another tattoo .. I don't think you'd do the same. Derm or spa salons offer laser treatment removal for tattoos. Try to check them because I think it is safer for you to go to such places rather than those regular tattoo shops anywhere. Best of luck

You can tell that its a mistake that you made. Parents are people too. When I make a mistake I will apologise to my children. Its difficult but I will explain why I do such and such. In your case just explain at the level what you think they will understand. You will be surprised how clever they are. Explain why you have not got it erased also. Hopefully that will emphasis the danger. Maybe your mistake can be a lesson they will remember when the times comes.
