Ahhhh Vigan

I wonder if mylotters are familiar of the place called vigan... I recently visited the place a few days ago. The first time I went there was in 2008. It's a rural place with civilization rapidly encroaching on it. good thing they've preserved a lot of the historical places, although there are a lot of graffiti on these historical places by people who just don't have any respect for monuments that have stood the test of time. I was a guest of a political son and everything was free. Man... i was stuffed for 3 days. I could barely stand, much less breathe. But we did manage to go around the historical places, museums and parks. The food was excellent too. (Thank you so much Tito Boyito!) I ended up singing some Elvis Presley songs to entertain him in exchange for his hospitality. Vigan and it's people are very courteous and warm. We also visited Chavit Singson's place and even inside his mansion. It was a very beautiful place. I wonder if he'll change the room name from Hon. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to Pres. Benigno Aquino now that P-Noy's in power. The tigers were magnificent although some of their living quarters weren't that clean. And I'm sad that the lion he had died. Ahh Vigan... I will visit you again...
