We have a lot of holidays here in my country. I'd mention some major too. Major holidays or National Holidays: 1. Independence Day - June 12 2. EDSA Revolution Commemoration - Somewhere between the 2nd or 3rd week of February 3. Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) - April 9 4. Holy Thursday,Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Sometime in March or April 5. Labor Day - May 1 6. National Heroes Day - August 29 7. Eid Ul Fitr (last day of Ramadan) - Somewhere in August or september. 8. All Saints Day - Nov. 1 9. Bonifacio Day - Nov. 30 10. Christmas Day - Dec. 25 11. Rizal Day - Dec. 30 12. New Year's Eve - Dec. 31 13. New Year's Day - Jan. 1 Minor holidays are mainly made up of feast days of saints and city days. Like tomorrow, the whole city where I currently work (Pasig City) have no classes because it's "Pasig Day"

We dont celebrate any minor holiday here in our family. We always celebrate major ones like Christmas, New Year, birthdays (if its considered a holiday but maybe a special day) and so on. I love celebrating those holidays because they brought all family members together.
