Ragging-banned or just interaction?

A lot of discussion was there when ragging was there in a college. Many students including myself used to think that most seniors would make juniors do the most hideous stuff like dancing in a public place, proposing an unknown girl.. Oh! you get my drift.
But seniors when approaches and asked said that it;s just a healthy form of interaction with the juniors and we just ask them to tell the SD(self details). No big deal!
However many parents still complain about their son/daughter being tormented by seniors but when their child is approaches he/she refuses to comment on that subject.
What do you think? Should ragging be allowed just as interaction session or maybe like banned forever?

ragging should be allowed upto some extent where a senoir can understand a junoir n guide himself in a proper manner.It shouldnt reach beyond that limit.ragging sould be a part of college life for pre graduate students to understand the world.
