Have you had the fun of meeting Janet Evanovich's wonderful people in her Stephanie Plum books? For a true belly laugh there is nothing better than her wonderful, earthly descriptions of some of the scrapes her people get into. There are very few books that I can laugh with, but her's work for me. Start with ONE FOR THE MONEY to get intruduced to the personalities then move on for a good laugh.

Oh yes, I have known Stephanie for a long time now and I really enjoy her adventures. I especially like her grandmother. I didn't like the "Christmas book", I don't remember the name now, it was too different from the rest, but I have liked all the others and I read them as soon as they come out.

I've never read any book that is by Janet Evanovich. However, after hearing the great review that you've left of her writing and considering the fact that I don't have any more books in our house that I have yet to read, I might consider visiting the resale book store that is close to our house and pick up one of her books so that I can try out something by an author that I've never read before. Thank you very much for the suggestion.

Nope, I haven't. And considering the book backlog I have, I may never have the pleasure... :-(
