Are you a Border's Reward Member?
I love shopping at Borders! Their membership is FREE! And they always have awesome sales and coupons. I am always getting 33% or 40% off coupons in my email for any book. Sometimes they even do 47% off coupons on a certain author (I took advantage of the James Patterson deal a few weeks back.) You can get as many of that author's books at 47% off - which is an awesome deal!
So, are you a member? Do you find yourself purchasing books there or somewhere else more? Just share with us why you love being a Border's Reward member!

I do have a border rewards card but I seem to use it more when I was younger. Now I just go to the library and rent the books because I dont want them hanging out all over my house
. But when I did have a membership I use to get 10 dollar coupons in the mail that was good for the ten dollars off any purchase of any amount.
So those were always nice because then I got a free book!

I am not much of a book shopper. While I love reading, I almost ALWAYS snag my books at local thrift stores and garage sales and I borrow them from friends - mainly. Right now I'm reading this creepy Lisa Gardner mystery book. It's pretty crazy! (Good, though). I just can't wrap my head around the idea of paying $20 for a book, especially when I don't have all that much of an interest in reading right now (time doesn't allow for very much of it). *shrugs*. I love that stores are starting to catch wind of the rewards program thing - it really does draw in customers and keeps them loyal.

What is the title/author of the book your reading now? I've just recently gotten into mysteries and may enjoy it!
I NEVER pay full price for a book. The only way I justify purchasing it is if I have a good coupon. I NEVER pay more than $10 for a book unless it's pretty amazing or something I"ve been wanting for a long time, etc.

I don't have a membership at Borders because they don't have a lot of locations in my area. I'm not sure there even is one within a reasonable driving distance. I have one at Barns and Noble because there are multiple stores really close by, but it's not nearly as good a deal as the one you're describing at Borders.

Yes I do have a Border's reward card. I enjoy the coupons I receive in my email box. I actually use them occasionally too! I really don't use them very often but I do sometimes. It's not because I don't find them useful, it's just that income is so sparse!
