Mailbox Decor

Do you a funky colored mailbox?
Is it painted, is it stenciled?
Is it funky shaped?
Is it a tractor, does it have a sports logo on it?
or is just standard black?
Maybe it's just a metal door with a key on it
or maybe your mail is delivered to your door?
Whatever your mailbox looks like I wanna know.
I also wanna know the funkiest looking mailbox
you've seen, and if you have a picture of it
that'd be a bonus!

Hi Cowgirl,
Sad to say It, but my mailbox do not have any writes or other things. I have orginal black mailbox. I like a system what have americans they have mailbox in the yards and postmens put mail in them. But, in my place I have mailbox behind home and sometimes postmens do not put my family mail at mailbox, but sometimes give It on our hands. If honestly I like It better, because sometimes there are people who steal mail from mailboxes. In my place we do not have funny mailboxes? How looks your mailbox? Take care, Have a nice day!

We live in a small town, everyone down our road is nice for the most part, lol. I say for the most part because of one incident but we don't even see them anymore so 
In any case ours is a plain black mail box at the end of the driveway, nothing fancy, just the house numbers.

Sadly, my mailbox does not have any decor on it. It's just the regular silver/grey box, beside all other similar mailboxes. Except for our house number on it, it does not have any other distinguishing marks.
Note though that we live in a townhouse complex. And our mailboxes are in the clubhouse where it gets decorated with whatever the season is.

as long as it's not decorated with pee! Where my mom lives, kids used to pee on the mailboxes in the little mail house at the top of the community. Not sure if they still do or not though. Our mailbox here is just plain black, so no distinguishing marks either, besides of course our house numbers!

SO...the owner of this mailbox is using an antique tractor as a mailbox post instead of having a basic mailbox post. A waste of a fine historical artifact if you ask me. However, I do like some of the more practical ones I have seen along the roadways...

Yeah it looks like that way, though I figure maybe they didn't want to get rid of the old tractor so instead they used it as a post? Or maybe it's the way the post would've fit against the side of what looks to be a mountain or something.

Hi Cowgirl! Unfortunately, I have the ugliest most embarrassing
mailbox and all my friends make a comment when they come
inside the entryway and see it! It's probably as old as the
building which might be 60 years old, and I'm here 39. It
is one of those apartment kind wit the key lock, but it is
old and chipped and rusted and it used to be gold and it looks
awful. The other buildings all have newer silver ones, but
I've complained over and over again, and even though it is
slightly broken they keep trying "to fix it"! I told them
to throw the broke azz piece of crap out already! Sorry for
the mini-rant in the middle of your discussion, but as you
can see mailboxes is a sore subject with me! But, I loves
you!

No problem about the rant, they should just change it already. If other buildings in your complex are changed, why not change this one to? I guess it's just laziness and not wanting to spend money when they can "fix it" for cheaper. It sounds like they must've been real gorgeous back when they were new...

I just have your basic run of the mill silver mailbox on a silver post. I have seen some very unique ones though. I saw on that was a fish and the mailman had to insert the mail in its mouth..lol..I have also seen those that are shaped like bird houses. That is a very unique on that you posted..lol..creative.

Yes the one I posted is definitely creative. I would like to know where it is, as I am not sure where it is located. I've seen a john deere tractor mailbox. Our is just standard black on a wood post. I like the ones that are birdhouses, I think I've seen those. I'm not sure I've seen the ones that look like a fish.
I like the really bigs ones they've come out with in recent years, it looks big enough to have packages and mail in without worry the packages would get disturbed.
