It's frustrating, but if the docs knew everything, there'd be a cure for cancer, etc. Hang in there sweetie, they'll figure it out eventually, and let's hope it's not anything too serious.

I do hate that. I've had an ultrasound done here and there and I always try to get them to tell me if they see anything...they never do. Sometimes they tell me just enough to shut me up until I go back to the doc but I can be pretty persistant. I'm sorry to hear that you are having to wait. That can be the hardest part because if your anything like me, your mind is going in a hundred directions. Take care of yourself and keep us updated.

Gabs, I am so sorry for your troubles. I wish there was something I could do for you. The only thing I can do is say a prayer for you, which I just did, take care and I hope and pray that you get better soon.

I have not had any problem that was that long term. I would worry and be concerned though. I did go through this with my sister when she was ill.She just got the run around a lot of time. Because of the type of health care program she was on they would not do what she needed as soon as she needed it. It sounds like they are trying, and they are just human. I hope you continue to get the things and help you need and I will pray for you. Hugs

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I bet you thought I fell off the face of the earth. hehehe Nope, I moved from Michigan to Arizona. I have a little dog now. His name is Koey. I got one baby blanket done and am working on a second one. When it is done, I will be sending them to you to share with your friend. Seee, I did not forget about you. I am getting settled into my new apartment and am still attending college. This term is very demanding and that is why I have not been on MyLot much. I do miss all of my friends but I have to get my homework done so I can graduate. Yes, I will be graduating with honors. I don't want to let you all down. By the way, my birthday was last week but I don't feel any older. I am studying medical transcription. I can truly understand that not getting answers can be very upsetting. I hope you feel better soon.

Gabs, i'm sorry u are having so many problems & feeling so bad. Seems as if u are having way too much. I always heard when it rains it pours & that seems to be going on w/u right now. Medical people drive me nuts drag a**ing around & seems they do that everywhere. I bet if they were having problems they wouldn't appreciate that in their doctors. Hope u feel better soon & find out what the heck is going on. HUGS.

Om my very dear friend gabs, I have been waiting so patiently to hear something and was so hoping that it would be better news by now! As for the "shadows", that is what they have told me and been watching for 3 years now and "say" that they are scar tissues from the chronic bronchitis I have had. Now if this is something new than it is from the infection that won't clear up, which means they aren't able to find the right meds to knock it out! As frustrating as it is you have to hang in there until they get it right! I am also beginning to hate the medical profession at this point because of what I am also going through with my medical insurance and my own health issues and not being able to get the proper answers! Am going again on Wednesday to have it out with my own doc because my foot is swelling to the point that I can't walk and am in seriuos pain and it looks like someone elses foot (like someone 3 times my size) and the x-rays, blood tests so far are not explaining it and it has gotten much worse and I'm scared! So, please take care of yourself and hang in there and try to get better please! I miss talking to you and Gissi! And how is Ginger? I'm sure by now the boys are happy little brothers. Right? Well the body is a ver complex thing, and it reflects what life is throwing at you which in your case is a lot of stress. Unfortunately the body response is after the fact so we forget have happened a while ago and don't attach the importance to it as regards to the body. One thing you could do is up your body's immune system with Vit Bs and other stress herbs. Look on the Internet for what you need.

Thank goodness you’re still about Gabs and you will be for a long time to come! I am very sorry that you are suffering so much pain and I am going to be sending some prayers your way that the shadows clear and the pain subsides so you will be as good as new. I hate waiting for test results; I just want to know immediately what I have so that I can begin to deal with it instead of stressing possibly unnecessarily. Let us know when you hear please! Gaby, how frustrating! Here in Oz, tests are almost immediate, so it is nowhere near as frustrating, but when the tests don't show the cause, it becomes more so. I just hope the tests show something and that the something is treatable - quickly and effectively.

I do hope you can get an answer soon. I remember waiting years for a couple of my medical diagnosis. It was a nightmare waiting for them to find out what was wrong, so they could sucessfully treat it.

Oh my, I didn't know you were going though something like this gabs. The view times I have dealt with doctors, I too have been let down not getting the answers I want..Then again maybe they don't know or not sure and don't want to give you news that isn't 100% positive. Please keep us updated, this must be scary for you and you are going to need all the support you can get. I'll be praying.

Aww Gabs, I'm so sorry you're going through all this. Maybe the meds will kick in by the 29th and the shadows will disappear. You're tackling something else too? I hope everything works out and you are up and running in a couple of weeks, good as new! I think everyone worries tremendously when waiting for results from tests, it's the unknown that bothers you. hi gabs I am so sorry to hear your lungs are still giving you so much p ain. hope they get to the bottom of things and can give you some real clear answers. I had my eyes checked for diabetic damage, he said there was none then he dropped the bombshell. I have had cataracts he said in both eyes for years, and this scares me the beginning of macular degeneration. hesaid he did not know if it would progress. welll I am going to do everything I can to see it doesnt progress. I will not let myself go blind. darn. I have a vision test on July 28th and am sure I will need new glasses too. maybe that will help; a lot new glasses so I can see better. I am going to ask him what do we do about the cataracts? and how do I stop the degeneration. well got to look at the bright side for us both we are alive and kicking. so there. hugs from Hatley . If that opthamthologist had just said more about the macular degeneration's and assured me more then I wou ld not be worrying an scared. my son did dnot come to see me this weekend either and thats got me in a douwn mood. too.
