when I am the one mowing our lawn, I usually used the push mower. I don't like drving and starting the tractor mower.. hehehe... but to be honest, I first learn to drive using the tractor mower. I just don;t want to start it by myself when I am alone in the house. So now, I use the push mower when our lawn needs to be cut and hubby is not around. what about you? do you prefer to use push mower? I think driving is more easier.

While using a riding mower is probably a lot less tiring, I have never used one and I don't think I ever would. I've always used a push mower to mow the lawn just because I think it's a lot easier to go back to missed spots and just a lot easier to maneuver in general. It is tiring since you have to work your body more, but I just always put on my music and listen to that whenever I'm out and the time seems to fly by.

There are a few areas in our yard where you can't really use the riding lawn mower. Therefore, the push mower is needed to really touch up those areas. I do agree that the riding lawn mower is a lot easier, but it can be very particular with how well it wants to work. Then again, you could really say that about any vehicle more or less.
So I think its good to have both. The rider does cut down on a lot of the time. However, there are areas where the push mower needs to be used. Plus, it is a good idea to use the push mower to touch up the lawn a little bit, as unfortunately from my experience, the riding lawn mower does not get everything. It gets most of everything but not everything.
