Have you ever sued anyone?

I did...I sued a big international medical impliment company because one of their products came apart during my operation, and a small metal tip is stuck in my liver. It's really not causing any problems, but it shouldn't have happened. So I got me an attorney, and we sued. It took a long time, but they did settle out of court. I got a fair amount, but by the time I paid the attorney his share plus fees, I only ended up with a little more than half of the settlement. Did this ever happen to you? Have you ever sued nnyone? Has anyone evr sued you?
