How often do you mow your lawn?

I mow mine twice a week on average. When I mow, I mow in a different direction each time, so you can see all the different lines. I am particular about my lawn because it is something everyone see when they drive by. I also use the weedeater areound things about once a week. I trim the dead flowers and pull weeds in the mulch. I like mine to look good. How often do you mow?

I think my yard was mowed ONCE last year, and then ONLY after it started raining in October... Already had it mowed twice this year, is starting to need it again, but we are waiting for the cats to "decant" the lawnmower to put it together... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Austin Texas, and last summer we had a pretty bad drought... Tho, we had made it all up by New Years, but then it was cold and the grass didn't grow. We are starting to get behind again, but we started with a pretty good surplus this year, so we aren't doing too bad

I bet you go through big stretches of dry weather.

I mow it once a week during the Summer, but only maybe once every two or three weeks during the winter, since it grows so much slower. Mowing any more often in the Winter wastes fuel for the mower. Mowing usually is accompanied by weeding and generally garden work. Of course, this assumes the weather is nice, which is a rare phenomena in Ireland.

I am not jealous of you. Once October hits I may have to mow once or twice. Then I don't have to mow until end of March.
