It's PNoys 1st SONA on Monday, July 26. Since, he just took office recently, I expect him to just reiterate his promises and plans of action. How about you mylotters? What do you expect and what do you want to hear from PNoy this SONA?

I have just witnessed PNoy's first SONA. I admire his simple strategy in facing all these challenges that our country is facing. He presented the unjustifiable spending of the previous administration. From there, he continued by stating his plans for his administration. At least, he had set the expectations of the people; that, we will be working on a very tight budget. He highlighted that there are a lot of things that can be done without extravagant expenses on the part of the government through the private-public partnership.

i guess he will try to put the government in order by putting back the lost opportunities and government's money from corruption. to show that he is really sincere in his fight against corruption, he will urge the states' prosecutors to go ahead and press charges against those who committed crimes against the people. as we know, there is a preponderance of evidences against GMA, i guess he will press ahead for charging her formally in court. aside from that, he will also outline his vision for his term.

I am very curious about the anomalies of the previous administration. I suppose I already know what they are, I just want to know how big an egg that would land on the Arroyos faces. But most of all, I want to know how exactly he will fight corruption in fulfillment of his promise.

I'd really much rather he didn't mention the previous administration's anomalies much, not because I don't think they're a big issue, but because I'd like my president to sound proactive and smart, discussing how to solve a problem, rather sounding all whiny and blaming the previous administration for all the difficulties he would have to face.
