All living beings including animals have feelings. Some animals especially dogs are so intelligent. I had dogs in my life and some are not even reared by me but came over to take care of my house and my family. One of them named Locky which was my neighbour's dog. Since Locky was a puppy, it had to cross drain to come to my house and sometimes it fell into the drain but made it's way back to my house somehow. Locky was such a wonderful dog and had waited at the bus stop to send and fetch my elder sister who had to work night shifts.Whenever, we were attacked by other dogs, we just had to scream his name and Locky had never failed to rescue us.
I had a fish named fishy which gave me a kiss on the glass of it's aquarium, on one Christmas Day and it went upside down since then. Fishy couldn't stay upright, unable to eat but still wagged it's fins whenever we called it's name. Fishy stayed in it's aquarium without food till almost the next Christmas, it was 11 months and 9 days by the time Fishy really left me. I am very fascinated by all these animals may it be dog, fish, rabbit or even chicken. They had proven to have feelings and love for us being humans. Remembering how my chickens which I reared had treated me, I wouldn't think of eating them. So this is part of my reasons for being a vegan. Do you love animals too?

Yes, I love animals and the living thing on this planet. They are creatures and have feeling too. We should treat them nicely and protect them from violence and cruelty if possible.
I as fascinated by the little touching stories about your dog and fish. It's part of the reason I choose to have a vegetarian diet whenever it's possible so that less animals are slaughtered to fulfill our appetite.
Happy Mylotting and have a nice day!

Thanks so much for your response, Cheongyc. It is so kind of you to love animals and all the living creatures on earth. They do have feelings and their life is just as precious as our life is to us.
To tell you the truth, I felt very scary on seeing how Fishy struggled so hard not to leave me. It's unbelievable to have a fish living without food for also a year! But it is true. I had even asked someone to chant prayers to help Fishy rest in peace sooner but it didn't work. Animal's love can be so great too!
As for Locky, he had a growth at his neck and had to be put to sleep at the end as he couldn't eat or drink and was in pain. On his final day, he turned his head towards my house and my mom for a while before he walked into the van of the veterinary. Locky was really a very faithful dog. My mom cried for a few days.
Oh! I am glad that you choose vegetarian diet as it is a healthier diet and is also an act of loving kindness as less animals are killed for our daily comsumption if more people will to reduce their meat intake and also helps in global warming. Have you ever watch how the animals cried and suffered when they are killed? It's horrendous, isn't it?

That's very surprising to know that you fish survived for almost a year without food! It must possess some kind of special ability and strong determination to keep itself alive.
Dog is the most faithful friend of human. Your dog, Locky, is one of them who protect its master with courage. It can be very mournful to see the dog walk to its end due to their shorter life span compared to man.
Yes it's cruel scene where the animals are slaughtered. In the bazaar, I have seen the chickens are thrown into the de-feathered machine after their throat are cut. The poor creature must have endured great pain before its last breath.

Actually I did helped Fishy by providing warm oxygenated water, diluted vitamins and salt which might have proven to increased it's life span. But it's determination and strong willpower to survive which had made all the difference.
Yes, it is the saddest moment of all pets owner to see their pets breathing their last breath. Although Locky could only managed to live for more than 10 years but he remained to be my best, faithful and lovable dog in my life.
Oh! Some humans are more cruel than you have mentioned. They throw the chickens alive into defeather machine. The way they slit the alive frog and pulled it's skin is really very painful to watch. What more to eat them. I find vegetarian food taste much better than meat. Do you agree with me?

I am not a pet lover actually. Although my parents loves pet, they take cared a lot of animals in our house. They have fish, dogs, and cats but none of them that I feed actually or given a chance to feed them. I dont know what is the reason why i dont like pets.

Thanks ada8may21 for your response. I am so glad that your parents love animals and I hope you love them too.
In order to like animals, you must treat all animals or pets as friends. When you love them, they will love you in return. In fact, they are more faithful and their love is geniune compared to human's love sometimes.
I tried to provide my pets with their favourite food, comfortable place to stay and I played with them often. I spent time with them and would sacrifice my lunch time to go home to feed them or when I am worried about them. I really cared for them. Sometimes their food costed more than mine. Because I love them, almost all my pets followed me everywhere I go. They have feelings and are intelligent in their own way. The principle is universal, ada8may21, give love and you will receive love in return. Pat them and communicate with them and you will learn to like them. Would you try to care for them?
Thanks again and hope to receive your reply again.
