Why do they do it? I have done it because of peer pressure from the people of my homeland. In the Philippines, every summer male kids go through a ritual called "tuli" or circumcision. Basically, everyone did it so it is normal and if your friends are circumcised and you are not they will make fun of you. I ended up getting circumcised. Now I want to know what reasons are there too back up circumcision? What are the reasons behind it?

To circumcise or not is a matter of choice in my culture. Most of the time it is the religion obligation that needed someone to be circumcise. Yes, they are people will laugh when they heard another person is not circumcised just because they have been circumcised. Let me put it straight here, both have advantages and disadvantages. About cleanliness, I can say it that I have seen cut and uncut rod, if you don't clean them, it will surely dirty. That is why you have to clean your rod with water etc. My advice is, just do not simply laugh at others :-) because they have what you do not have and they do not what you have...vice versa...God bless.

Yes, I am when I was 9 years old. It's one of the traditions here in our country, Philippines. Every man should be circumcised. I heard about the importance of circumcision to the Jewish community dated back to biblical days. Abraham was circumcised at the age of 99, and in later generations it was made a basis for God freeing the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Jewish baby boys are usually circumcised when they are eight days old. A lot of research has indicated that being circumcised is a pretty healthy way to be, and it avoids various infections and conditions that can arise because of what can happen under the foreskin during natural life. (Please rate me) God bless to all!!!
