I had such a strange dream...

I was tired and basically slept the afternoon away.
So, it was during this "nap" I had this dream.
Lets start with a little fact, I have one long hair that grows out under my chin - and I've discovered I can actually pull it out easier with a pair of my beading pliers than with a tweezer...
So, I dreamed there was this small black hair growing out of my arm, I got my pliers and pulled it.
It turned out to be about 4 inches long like a long black whisker from a cat. After looking at it a bit, the base seemed to be kind of peeling, an even closer look and the peeling looked like a feather.
I then looked at my arm and there seemed to be some feather bits sticking out of my arm where I pulled this thing.
That's where I woke up, any ideas folks?
Am I just soft and fluffy inside? Its not like I'm Mykl, I have admitted to being so...

I think some of the strangest dreams I have are on summer afternoons. I would question whether or not you are turning into a kitty and munching on some birds. After all, you are what you eat.

Having a hairy feathery moment? LOL I wish I knew Elic but I haven't a clue. The same goes for a dream I've had twice so far which was about Patrick Swayze's wife Lisa and consoling her. I don't know her OR Patrick when he was alive although I'd have loved to have but haven't so why am I dreaming about her? Maybe it means I have a heart? I honestly don't know.

Maybe. But then again, I know what it's like to lose someone you love like she did with Patrick. I wasn't with my man nearly as long as she was with hers but still, the pain of the loss is unimaginable especially when it's sudden like mine was. I kind of want to be first to go when it comes to hubby and I because I don't want to ever go through such pain ever again but only God knows what's in store for me so I wait and see..... like what else can I do, huh? lol

Hmmm, you are going to give birth to a long-haired, feathered child some day. LOL

Hey! I've a long hair growing out of my chinny-chin-chin, too! Even as a child. But mine is very fine and colorless, not like a whisker, more like a pin-feather.
Haven't a clue about your dream, though.

oh my glad you woke up from that before you became more feathered ElicBXn' he he. I have not a clue. I once dreamt I had hairs growing
out of my front teeth but I realized where that came from. I have this'
dreadful habit when I am really tense of unconsciously pulling a lock of hair and chewing on it. I know its really yucky. but my husband tried to break me of the habit by teasing me, He would come over and say does that taste good? and I would immediately drop the lock from my lips. so my conscience must have worked overtime, the dream seemed so real I had to go look in the bathroom mirror to be sure I did not have hair growing on my teeth. lol lol lol

...and you say, you own HOW many cats?
Just kidding.
It sounds to me like you have a task to take care of that you believe will become tedious at best. Therefore you have procrastinated in putting it off.
However, as with most things you usually take on, the task at hand becomes easier to do once you've decided to get your procrastination out of the way.

Hi there ElicBxn
That really is a weird dream. If ever I dream it is usually if I have had the chance to lie-in, which is rare, and I have that dream during that lie-in period, like I will wake and then realise I don't have to get up and so fall back to sleep and that is when I dream and it is usually a weird one too haha. Sounds more like you were changing into a bird in your dream!

What a strange dream! Maybe you were dreaming that you were a cat and then a bird! Things can change a lot in dreams! The feathers could be from knowing that your cats liked birds. @ada8may21 (2404)

That's really a strange dream and its odd you have a dreamed like that. According to them our dream is sometimes a reflection of what we are thinking about or what our preference in life. So maybe your are thinking about your hair or all the hair that grows in you. Or maybe your preference has something to do with the hair. I am not really good in reading dreams. But I do read dreams sometimes just that I am not that expert when it comes to that field,.

well, I like my hair, where it belongs, so i don't let it grow where I dont' think it belongs, like a single whisker out of my chin... but this was so much like a long black cat whisker - and I have a 'few' cats so I know what those things look like, but they don't sprout "feathers" as they dry
I felt kind of like I was full of stuffing, rather than quite real when I saw that in my arm

Hi Elic,
That is so very strange, maybe you were a bird, an eagle or a hawk in your last life, lol!
