Caffeine has long been known to be a stimulant as it causes increases in heart rate and blood flow.because the caffeine will
stimulate the typist and will cause finger speeds to increase, that typing speed will increase, however, because typing will be occurring at a higher rate of speed, it is expected that the typist will become more inaccurate as the amount of caffeine increases.these are some pars of the article that i have read and i am curious of this. i am a coffee addict. a day without coffee for me doesn't happen. this is the result i have read: Based on the results, it appears as though caffiene had an affect on typing speed, but not accuracy. This is based on the general increasing slope viewed on the first graph. The accuracy graph appears erratic. Since there seems to be no consistency as the number of sodas polished off increases, then no conclusion can be made about accuracy. Furthermore, the effect noticed with typing speed may be more a result of familiarity with the test as opposed to an effect of the caffiene. This is supported by the test done after 30 minutes and the next day where WPM speeds were substantially increased. In conclusion, it appears the hypothesis was shown wrong in this experiment and caffeine, at least that from a soda, has had no serious effects on typing speed or accuracy.

it is true.... caffeine really makes your typing speedier...
me? since i am grade 4 elementary and up to now, i am old enough and i maintain drinking at least 5 mountain dews everyday and no absent to caffeine... that's the reason why i can type at least 200 words per minute without looking at the keyboard... but basic typing only.......
and caffeine doesn't only affect the increase in typing speed in keyboard....
it also makes you a top speed rapid hand attacking combinations with regards to martial arts......
caffeine is really good in wing chun kung fu.....

I don’t think so… I mean I know caffeine is a stimulant, precisely the reason why we take a cup of coffee when we feel so sleepy but that has never affected my typing! I mean caffeine is not a hallucinogen, so why should my typing become inaccurate (not that its accurate all the time LOL)…what do you think?
