Why do we wash our bathing towels when we are clean when using them?

I wash my towel every three days. If we are clean when we use them then the towels must not have been dirtied, right? I think the reason behind this is that we like to use fresh ones or maybe because the wet towel might get molds and bacteria living on them. That's what I think. Do you wash your towel?

Hello :) I was wondering the same, i can use one towel a week, but after that, washing the towels of my boyfriend, because he got a lot of it, i started wash more often mine. I didn't know that from our wet skin some part stays on my towel, but around him i learned it :) And now i think it's a good way to protect your skin of all the dust who is flying around without our eyes seeing it :)
