Well, i wouldn't have caught you if you haven't to been pushing the doorbell more than once
I don't know if you remember my problem about children playing with our Doorbell. well, most tend to get away from it.
except for this little girl whom i busted with for pushing the door bell too many times. i thought it was my brother but then i saw her kept pushing the door-bell and then her grandma i believed saw her too.
I don't want to get mad because i know she didn't realize it was wrong and too innocent i believe. i went to that barbershop and i can see her face almost ready to cry.
but i explained and tell her to keep an eye on her next time. a lot of barbers knew kids messing with our doorbell.

her grandma was teasing her to be sent to jail. i can see she's about to cry but i guess she didn't so i just went back inside. besides, i know his grandpa, and i don't want to cause a fight. it's just a child anyways

I used to be one of those kids who pranks and i do love pressing doorbells then runaway. I suggest that you put intercom on your doorbell so that if there is someone really looking for anyone at home, you can verify easily by asking questions...

LetranKnight25,
Well, I am sure this little girl will be looking for something else to amuse herself after this little "bust up"!
Your doorbell must have had a catchy chime or tune to be so popular with her in the first place. Anyway, I hope that will be the last of her prank and that there will be some peace for a while.....
At least, till she finds another item from you house (I hope not)...
Have a great weekend.

Hello sky,
not really but it's kinda low and kids can reached it and that's why i can't help but go outside even though they're messing with it. last night i had to because my mom was already asleep.there will be others sky, i hope one day i could either set it higher or have a surveillance CCTV camera.

Why is it that doorbell is very attractive to kids. That used to be my problem. Children one after the other would press the doorbell on our gate and this was really disturbing to me and to other members of the family. Sometimes during weekends when we were resting and taking nap, the sound of doorbell would rouse us up but not coming from a visitor but from playful children on the street. Also there were countless times I got so mad because a busy working mother such as I rushing to prepare myself for the office while cooking something on the oven for our breakfast and then suddenly continuous ringing of doorbell would be heard so that I had to rush outside to see who could be the early visitor but there was none but only children who were just playing with our doorbell! So you know how I solved this problem? I asked my husband to just disable that doorbell so now even if the children kept on pressing the doorbell they could not disturb us anymore.

i don't know salonga,
by the way, this is our new doorbell, the old ones been busted for being played on for so many years. but having no door-bell at home could really be bothersome to our real visitors, like they have to shout hard just for us to hear. trouble with me is that i kept closing the door for assurance of my security. i wish i could put a ground there, so that annoying children would be surprise.

I guess this child is unlikely to play with people’s door bells again; it sounds as though she was mortified about the whole incident. If she is a little kid it’s good that she has learnt that doorbells are not to be played with but in the scheme of things there are a lot worse pranks kids can pull!

i had a haircut in their barbershop yesterday and it seemed that the kid is sleeping. the grandma was like "ok you can scold her now" (with a laugh). but i know she's just akid. thank god the doorbell was holding on.
