How to denote time ?

We denote any time period by BC which means before the birth of Christ or AD which means after the death of Christ. But how should we denote any time period during the life tenure of Christ?

There is so much disagreement as to when Christ lived that the case doesn't arise too often. Perhaps DC is appropriate! (During Christ)
