this is yet another sad story for students who gets into trouble just because they are Pretty. Her parents though she is just tired as she goes to room directly after her studying from school. but they noticed something different from her since she got into college. later, she revealed that she's been harassed and rape by his professor for almost two years, the father cried every night knowing what happened to her daughter. I believe the reason why it took this long, because of threats probably of her life, grades and humiliation from It's rumored that the Professor escaped to another country, this really piss me off, most specially when it comes to raping a student. Any reactions? Have a great day.

if my professor raped me and i didnt like it then i wont let him do it to me again but if i liked what he did, then i can make him do it to me for 2yrs... ahahaha!! she made it sound and look like she didnt have an option at all when infact theres many options she could do. she could file a case against him or transfer to another school or whatsoeva... so i guess part of it is her fault why it went on for 2yrs. if she dealt with it properly it is a ground for dismissal and imprisonment.

sweet, that was actually at the back of my mind.most specially when failon mentioned she was pretty. but of course, there must be another reason why it took that long. but i must admit, this is partly her fault, to hell with public humilitation if she can step up for her right and stand up against this guy.

Women who are abused carry the shame even to the grave. I guess its because of our culture and religion that women here think like this, that it is shameful to say that they have been violated even if it is not their fault. I remember in grade school a nun who taught us religion class declared that if we were raped it was our fault that we allowed the rape to happen. This nun declared that we have brought the incident to ourselves through our words, actions and even how we dress. Thankfully, none of us really minded her. This is not uncommon that she just kept silent. Because she would be feasted upon by the kind and the unkind and everyone will have their own opinion on the matter, none of which will really help her. That professor should be hunted out, deported and face the crime he has committed. Who knows how many more students he violated, who just kept silent and lived on with their lives.

hello anne, still puzzles me though how she kept it for two years, how was that. but i think the way the person dress can be a big factor for a man to think naughty things and do something bad to a girl, specifically to a student.

Knight, its rather ironic to end your discussion with Have a great day. when the subject you just initiated is rather sad. Well, that's just my reaction to your parting words. Now, about the real discussion, its really sad to think that the ones who are suppose to be the individuals whom students should look up to are the ones that are doing such acts that would get the students into compromising situations that would greatly affect the student's future. These things are getting more and more these days, police men abusing their captives, now teachers harassing their students for either money or pleasure, and threatening them with grades and public humiliation. Teachers should really be aware that they shouldn't be doing that or even make that wrong impression because students can actually complain about them, even when the basis for such accusations are just from the student's claim. Reputation getting tarnished is already something to worry about. The school should get hold of that culprit who took advantage of that nursing student, contact the institution that granted the professor's teaching license and have it revoked.

hi letrankinight its so awful when a professor who students usually look up to to halp them with their classes takes all the advantages and rapes a student just because she is a female and pretty. What a really lousy louse that professor is. I hope they catch the bad word bad word profeesor and put him in prison for years. She was probably told she would get killed or a family member hurt is she told on the fool.Thats really horrid if he gets away with it.

hello hatley, it could have been worse, but even though she's alive, this will on her for the next years to come. i believe counseling and therapy can slowly heal this person. am sure once this man is captured they will undoubtly be at peace.

What happened to this girl is a real shame and it’s affected her life forever. If only she spoke up straight away it would not have gone as far as it did and she would have at least felt empowered by bringing him to justice. We must teach our daughters to have the power to look after themselves and not allowed creeps like this professor to get away with this kind of thing. It’s very sad and I feel very sorry for the student and her family! I hope this man is found and prosecuted.

This is a sad story indeed. But I think it could have not reach this long if she immediately complained. I have not seen or read the news yet, but two years is quite that long. Well, I do agree about humiliation and fear. But for a span of two years, it would be impossible for her not to find a way to complain. I am not blaming her. Perhaps she has her reasons, but it could have been solved earlier and justice would have been delivered by now, if she had the guts to complain right away. After all, she has all the right to complain... I do hope that soon she will find justice.

it is sad. but i guess her only choice is to move on, i think she also needs counseling to get over this matter. this person had done terrible things to her, am sure she wouldn't trust male professors and most specially "MEN" some day. i had friends who are tough on men because of their past bad experiences with them, and this is one of them.

Hi there Letran Knight! :) Saw it in the news and I was really curious on how things started between the student and the professor. Because if she was threatened, she should have fight right from the very start. Being scared won't really help. I pity the poor student, she kept for two years, with no one to help her. I pray for justice for her. I'll follow this in the news too.

hello trish, i guess we should watch Ted Failon's show tomorrow to find out why it took that long. i wonder how she was threatened by the teacher in what way. i hope they get that guy and teach him what he deserve. poor student, at least she wasn't gang-banged like the last girl way back few years ago.
