How awful. This makes me cringe. I have a child and I would give MY life for hers anyday. How do you feel about this?

Laglen what is going on with you today? Is this India information day. We have enough horrible happenings in our country without having to hear about another country's horrors. Sorry but not quite my cup of tea I prefer your usual genre of discussions.

I am trying to show that the US is not the only place with issues. I am a believer in people in glass houses and so on. There is a poster here that is continuously tearing down MY country with NO facts or proof so I am showing her that there is plenty of proof of her own country's problems.

Oh I understand. I must say I really get very tired of foreigners always putting us down. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but there are too many supercilious know-it-alls on myLot.

Yes, there are and we have a relatively new one who not only doesn't know it all, but actually knows very little and refuses to learn about America because of opinions that are set in stone.

Well, laglen, I see that our resident expert hasn't weighed in so I guess there's no ready excuse for this. I'm sure it's somehow America's fault.
People who live in glass countries really shouldn't throw stones.

Read some of laglen's other recent discussions, whiteheather, and you should see who she is referring to. I'll give you a hint, the username starts with an "S"...and it's not me.

It is bloodchilling. Deception and evil abound, signaling the end of days.

Don't go looking for signs of the end of days, epicure...you'll drive yourself batty. Throughout history there have been numerous and much worse examples of deception and evil.
