If it is possible to break down an object that is made up of matter into smaller pieces can those pieces be cut into smaller pieces forever or is there a limit where after cutting it into so many small pieces it can't be cut anymore?

In school and college we were taught in science that when an object is cut into pieces the smallest visible piece is known as a particle.when a particle is cut there is a burst of energy and the pice that is cut is known as an atom. For a long time it was thought that the atom was the smallest piece.but when it was further divided still smaller pieces were discovered but these were unstable. The atom is the last stable piece that is present in the universe. Science has progressed and still smaller types of electrons have been discovered called nano however they are all unstable and are all different forms of energy. Infact we and everything in the created universe are nothing but energy and when the final cut is made there will be nothing but energy. The human body and all the solid objects in creation are nothing but'frozen energy' in gross form. One day or the other billions or trillions of years hence this entire creation will burst with a final bang and everything will go back to its original form and that is pure energy.

Do you know what energy is? Energy is not made up of matter. I am talking about if an object can be cut into smaller pieces over and over again or if there is a point where it can't be cut at all.

Friend, that is exactly what i have written. The smalles part of matter or as you say, an object when it is cut is the atom.Any further division results in an explosion of energy. When American scientists, during World War 2 cut the atom it resulted in production of the atom bomb as every body knows especially the residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.Matter is composed of atoms which if cut further result in pure energy.Discussion closed.
