job solicitation with a google logo on it

Today I received a letter that has google logo on the envelope, and also adsense publisher on the letter head. After I read through it, it was about a person who solicited a job, that person wants me to hire him to help promote my website, and bragging about how much he could bring in per month. Like it is a piece cake of him, and he can swing a magic wand, and I can easily earn a thousand bucks per month without worry. That is too good to be a truth. It was just another scam letter I guess, so I tossed it away.

I guess that is an offline version of the spam messages we were receiving here. Someone from hell registered here in MyLot, then started sending us messages with the same pattern that you described there. I was surprised to read your post here, I discovered there is an offline version of the spam we get rid of!
By the way, upon receipt of the friend request and the spam message, I immediately delete them including the sender from my friends list. Gone with the wind!

Any and all unsolicited offers of easy wealth are scams. Universal truth ;-)
