I can not believe what some ptc sites try to get by with doing. I don't know one ptc site that doesn't offering advertising packages, some are laid out different and are decent, while others have the specials weekly or monthly that are just amazing. Have you looked at the value some of the packages are supposed to have? The ptc's show this in the parenthesis by the offer. Here's an example : ------ 100 Referrals ($75.00 value) 10000000 Banner Credits ($1000 value) 13200000 Link Credits ($3000 value) ------ Maybe that is a bit of a stretch, but I don't feel I should copy word for word some of the specials I've seen.. They say that's the value of all the things above and then drastically reduce the whole package to just $20.00? Puh-lease they're making a profit by offering $20.00 I feel for certain the value would only be around $10.00 give or take. I am not sure how it's measured in with the bandwith of the site, but ptc's have to have a heavy banddwith I am sure to be able to host 100's of ads which are possible on some ptc sites. In any case maybe I'm way over my head in this assumption, but maybe not. But who else is turned off by the offers on some of these ptc sites? One group of ptc sites I am on is saying after you make $3.00 you have to give back atleast (I think) $30.00 in advertising etc (aka buy a package)... I can understand that this person is just trying to keep their site alive, and I do trust them, but at the same time that's a path you don't want to go down because A LOT of members aren't going to pay that much, I sure won't unless I see more ads on the sites... though of course no one will advertise most likely unless they buy a package...
