Cooking and Confusion

I am trying to cook something and I am so confused on what goes with some kind of beef and corn on the cob, I want to make something different but it always comes out to be the same thing every time!! I am out of potatoes so I am lost on what else to make I was thinking of okra but that really sounds like it would go better with a chicken thing? What do you think?

I would say run to the store if you are able to as I agree potatoes go well with corn on the cob!
However, you could make perhaps mac'n cheese? Thats usually a hit in my house between the price and the kids will eat it... it turns into a win-win usually.
A rice dish or even rice-a-roni? I often mix corn in with my rice-a-roni to stretch it a bit more and give the corn some additional flavor.
